Short Intro - Martinus Cosmology (page 3/6)

The author Martinus and his Cosmology

Martinus was born in Denmark (1890-1981) where he spent 60 years modelling the world picture.

In 1921 he experienced an extensive transformation of his consciousness, which made him able to see the central principles of Life. He called this a cosmic birth and had the notion that all people will reach this clear-sightedness at a given stage of their development. He acquired the ability to see the invisible principles and laws of life behind the physical existence. During the rest of his life he worked at formulating the world picture which we now call Martinus Cosmology.

In his main work Livets Bog ('Leavets Boh' - here the Danish original title is used according to the wish of Martinus) he presents the foundation of life's own science, which directs to the absolute logic and loving cosmos. In the seven volumes - Livets Bog - he walks through the basic principles of life supplementing this with a number of other books as well as the cosmic symbols.

His entire work titled 'The Third Testament' is available in a number of languages and there are independent study groups in several countries.
In Denmark The Martinus Institute (www.martinus.dk) is responsible for his complete work.

Martinus does not claim to have invented the laws of the world which he presents in his books. He describes the timeless cosmic laws. His work is not built upon mysticism and utopia and he encourages us to not just believe but to investigate for ourselves.
