Short Intro - Martinus Cosmology (page 5/6)

Cosmology, among other things, tells us that...

  • The basic foundation of the universe is logic and love

  • The universe is a living being in which we all live

  • All living beings are enclosed by a loving cosmic principle

  • The universe is divisible in physical and spiritual realities

  • All living beings - minerals, plants, animals, humans etc - are eternal and experience involution and evolution through the cycle of life both physical and non physical

  • The purpose of life is to experience life, which is made possible through the contrast principles of light and darkness. No living being is - cosmically speaking - capable of suffering injustice, but meets its own actions through its fellow beings and through life itself.

  • The individual is still not a fully developed human being, but carries much of selfish, more primitive impulses in his consciousness. This conflict between humane and the selfish is reflected both culturally and individually in our time.
